Colin Andrews Vs Frank Drake

The recent scientific arrogance of Frank Drake in his criticism of crop circles as a sign of potential ET intelligence has made me smile. While Colin Andrews has adequately retorted I was reminded of a quote from the late Terence McKenna, who famously quoted on the SETI project… “to search expectantly for a radio signal from an extraterrestrial source is probably as culture bound a presumption as to search the galaxy for a good Italian restaurant.”
