“Go back to sleep America. Your Government is in control.” – Bill Hicks
Throughout the course of history we have seen the nefarious machinations of governments throughout the world. We have seen how information will be manipulated to suit the governments position. We have also seen how sensitive information is ‘buried’ until such a time as it is deemed politically safe to release it. We have seen this with the ‘sexed-up’ Iraq dossier which would motivate the British government to go to war. Even now, Jack Straw has refused to release the minutes of the cabinet meeting that dealt with this period of time and has intimated that they will never be released. So how can we expect the government, or any government to come clean about the presence of ETs?
This ‘jam tomorrow’ scenario has been played out for years. We heard Jimmy Carter was going to look into UFOs. We heard Bill Clinton was going to look into it. Even Bush Jnr famously got UFOlogists into a lather when questioned on UFOs he said “Speak to Cheney”, and this somehow got translated into Bush Jnr will release important UFO information. Now we hear the same about Obama. The great messiah will disclose all! I doubt it.
This whole Disclosure position angles on humanities general predisposition to look to governments for the answers. Why does this movement also continue to look to former defence employees and industry insiders who have spent decades enforcing the secrecy they now decry? Game-keeper turned poacher? I think not.
The release of UFO related files (from any Government) is generally short on substance and just serves to keep people from asking questions. “Oh, look at us! We’re ever so transparent, we’ve released our files”, and the media (on cue) will snigger and point in ridicule and the public will go back to staring at the TV. This is what we have witnessed in the current releases on files from MoD. The media remains complicit in this.
And these are the questions that we must face. Do we go chasing Government and expect them to tell us the truth? Or do we seek the truth ourselves? Can we do both? I believe Government should be held accountable but I do not seek their truth or expect them to tell the truth. We have seen this in the recent MP expenses scandal. They are self-serving. There is too much riding on maintaining UFO secrecy. And with all that we have seen over the years, can we believe what they tell us? As we have seen Governments have their own agendas and they rarely are for the benefit of the populace. Of all the people whose reputations it has destroyed, all the lies, all the missing evidence, all the cover-ups – can we really say the powers-that-be will really come clean?
We must remember that when ‘the day’ happens. When the truth is globally known, it changes everything. All the systems that are in place crumble within a day. Why work? Advanced technology will render so much industry pointless. We have seen through anthropological history, that when a primitive tribe encounters a more advanced tribe huge, huge changes take place. We can’t put the genie back in the bottle and Governments need those structures because it keeps us in our places, it keeps the powers-that-be in their ivory towers, and that’s the way they like it. It’s all about control.
We must seek the truth ourselves, outside the confines of official structures. We must open ourselves to the universe. We must seek what we wish to find, individually and collectively. I do not believe President Obama will stand and give a truthful account of the UFO situation. He will never stand before Congress and say ‘They’re here’. I, however, through working with experiencers (I am a clinical hypnotherapist) and through my own personal experiences can stand and say ‘They’re here’ and bring truth, and from our individual standpoints in the universe we must move forward to discover further what the alien involvement with planet Earth will be.
The revolution will not be televised.
